Dynamic Algorithms for Protecting Databases against Repeated Cyberattacks

Semesters 1, 2: Stackelberg games model how groups can defend against attackers by laying out their resources in order to minimize the information that attackers can steal. The principles from these games can be applied to minimizing the amount of information lost from a database in successive attacks.

Semester 3: As a proof of concept, develop a probabilistic model to quantify data leakage, and take actions based on this leakage score in order to minimize future leakage.
